Custom MOTD

MOTD, or message of the day is the description shown for your Minecraft server in the server browser for Minecraft.

Changing your MOTD

1. Go to your servers file manager
2. Find and open the "server.properties" file
3. In the server.properties file there is a "motd=" field, which is where you enter your servers MOTD message.
4. Change that to whatever you like, and boom you've got yourself a brand new MOTD.

Customizing your MOTD
